I adore these old miniature embroideries and ones of this age are rare to find these days especially at fairs, irresistible in fact to leave them behind at fairs and not bring them home. This is in very good condition for age, it is unglazed, but the silver frame is still bright as they have been stored well (or maybe just slightly later in date) and the embroidery is exquisite, just delicious in detail. A perfect piece if you collect these beautiful studies. The frame allows the embroidery to free stand on a cupboard or shelf top or hang on the wall.
