A Large Mill Spool of Antique Linen Thread

I love the old linen threads, not only are they delightful to stitch with but they are also great for wrapping gifts and general domestic use.  I use it 'all' the time, just perfectly handy to have a reel in your drawer or on your making table. Perfect styling prop too.
18cm tall.

Please note I have acquired a few of these spools so the one you receive may differ in the tones of wood to the one shown in the photograph and the amount of thread on spool will vary.  Not too sure how many metres are on the spools but I imagine between 500- 300metres depending on the spool you receive.
Approx 100 years old (maybe a little older)
