A Reclaimed Pleated Pair of Netted and Embroidered Panels

A very lovely pair of reclaimed open lace panels. These appear to be cuffs that have been opened at the seam to make a larger panel. These panels made me think of shells due to the way the base net is pleated with tiny little circular markings.
One measures approx 17cm in length x 26cm in width, the other just slightly smaller.
Approx 130/140 years old.
