Antique Linen Bouquet on Silk

A beautiful bouquet of flowers that are all individually handmade and applied onto a silk base. The base has two layers of silk with a cardboard in between, so this may have been a fashion house sample, possibly for bridal. The sample has been handstitched to the base. There is wear to the silk where it has started to break down due to age.
An exquisite piece to study.
