A very sweet old oil painting on canvas of sparrows playing within pretty violas. The violas are particularly beautiful.
This has been reclaimed from its original frame at some point within its journey. The painting is in travelled condition. There's some paint missing to the surface and for some reason someone has placed gaffa tape to the reverse of the old canvas. Initialled very nicely M.B.H and dated 1916.
