This is actually an old reproduction print of an old Japanese block print produced around 1784 by Kitao Masanobu titled The Courtesans Hitomoto and Tagasode of the Daimonji House. The original print was from a printed album titled A Competition Among the New Beauties of the Yoshiwara Mirrored in their Writing. Produced around the mid Edo period.
This print that I have here for sale is from around the early 1900's, 'an antique reproduction'. Perfect piece for those who love the decorative arts of Japan, the detailing within the textiles and costume is exquisite.
Mounted onto thick heavy board so you can have reframed or lean on a shelf for display.
