delicate silk flowers sheet ~ cut flowers DIY
Pretty delicate cut flowers from The Linen Garden - this version is a little different as they will arrive as a sheet for you to 'cut-them-out-yourself'.
The flowers are to be cut out by hand from a paper backed panel of digitally printed florals on silk sateen. The paper backing is bonda web, a fabric adhesive.
Once cut out, these are either iron on (once paper backing is removed) or you can remove the paper and simply sew onto your project (this is how I tend to use them).
The cut flowers are rather marvelous to iron directly onto emulsioned walls or furniture too to create a fabric collage. Just use a fine cotton between the iron and flowers/leaves to stop any sheen appearing on the direct surface.
use them to style a table as 'floral confetti' around your centre display.
If you are using the iron on method then you will need to use some stitching/embroidery so that the fabric piece remains attached (that is if you are intending to washing your project/product such as a cushion).
The sheet measures 13.5cm x 13.5cm
