MAKE - THE COMPANY OF BUTTERFLIES
The meeting of a butterfly is considered good luck and to see one in your home denotes a love of home life. This all seems very fitting to our current home situation at the moment.
We have spent this afternoon cutting out paper butterflies and camouflaging them onto our linen wall in the living room, some have even rested on the lampshade. Over the coming weeks they may choose to move to the curtains, a shelf or rest quietly on the corner of a picture frame.
This is a very therapeutic and calming project to do for an afternoon. The butterflies need to be cut out carefully with small scissors, gently creased down the centre by hand to raise their wings and then positioned in place with the entomology pins that will be enclosed with your butterfly pack.
Set of 12 butterflies and pins.
Largest butterfly measures 8.5cm across.
