Mid Victorian Serving Tureen

A beautiful serving tureen from the mid eighteenth century.  Due to the age and 'bespoke-ness' of this piece, there is a change of the design as it travels round the tureen, the design has blurred from use and heat here and there.  The stamp on the reverse can just be made out and states ENGLAND.

Like me, you may love to use these servers for so many uses, I love to use them to hold small soaps and toiletries in the bathroom, or to rest small pots of violas in the kitchen....

longest width is 32cm

Please note this piece is heavy.

The hand painted gilding to the piece has worn in areas and I have tried to show this in the images.
