Old French Hand Painted Floral Furnishing Design - Rose On Pale Chartreusse

An absolute treat.

A beautiful hand painted French textile design filled with dancing roses.  The main section that is painted is in good condition just the odd tear and small teeny hole.  The outer edges have weakened from its journey and some edges have started to tear into the design but these have been taped to secure.  There is one particular mended tear that runs approx a third of the way in to the design.  There is also the original pencilled repeat guidelines.  Produced in a design studio in France, probably in the late 1800's.

These designs are beautiful to have framed and make a beautiful statement piece to any wall and room.  Or if you have a business then this is obviously free to use within design work etc.
