Old "Universal Medicine Chest"

This is an old wooden box with latch. inside is the original advertising for Day & Son's Universal Medicine Chest. Research has led to it dating around 1900. The inside has been painted. It is in well used condition but still sturdy, the hinges have been replaced, you can see where the original ones were positioned by the marks they have left. It is a wonderful box for storage. Or open and tip on its side for display.
