I am really loving returning back to making small batches of products again. This lovely ribbon is a new addition. Tissue paper has been hand painted with gentle tones of paint and then hand cut into strips and joined together using my faithful Bernina sewing machine.
This version has also been printed with a Victorian roller using ink, the roller would have originally been used to place the template designs for embroidery onto linen.

Wrapped around a textured card, the print is actually taken from a piece of blotting paper found in an old ledger. So you may choose to do something with the base card too.
