Rare Antique Lace Making Pattern Cards (collection 1)
I was over joyed when I found these patterns to share with you, they are such a hard find these days, especially these where some still have the original linen stretcher ends. This collection originally came from the School of Stitchery & Lace, Bookham, Surrey.
I think these are just wonderful to own, or pin to your work room wall, or create a wonderful exhibition where you combine a few collections together. These would look amazing pinned out and sewn to a linen base then framed.
To give you an idea of scale the base emulsioned area space of the main photograph is approx 70cm in length.
These will arrive in their natural slightly curved condition from storage although some are flat too.
