You know I love old Dutch prints and I slightly became a tad giddy when I found this lovely framed print last year. The print is from a painting by Pieter De Hooch titled Boy Bringing Pomegranates. The print is in good condition, just a little crease to the top left that can be seen now and then when the light casts across the print. The imagery holds such exquisite detailing (see photographs) and the frame is delicious too.

The frame and backing board is heavy and sturdy. There has been slight damage to the frame from its journey and it looks as if it has been repainted in areas with paint, still an old gold though. The backing board has been replaced sometime ago too.

Heavy in weight for size.
