Painted on stretched canvas that has been reclaimed at some part of its journey from a frame.
I think it is signed but it is hidden/faded over time in the bottom right corner.
This is a very old painting but just can't date it exactly but it is certainly late 1800's maybe just creeping to the early 1900's
