Large Thirties Floral Oil - Patisserie Arrangement

For me there is so much to love about this arrangement. It has been reclaimed at some point on its journey which has left the most wonderful of edges. Painted on canvas then mounted onto an old wooden board, the canvas is coming away in areas of the edges but this seems to add character rather than detract. The painting is signed L Defzissl, there are other letters but these are covered by an oil mark to the corner, dated 1936. European, but unsure of exact journey.
The painting measures 49cm x 39cm
