A beautiful old embroidered sampler that demonstrates a floral motif that has been embroidered in the tiniest of chain stitch and a scallop design in small running stitches and a waved design in couched threadwork There is also a motif that sits on its own in Trapunto. I purchased this as a collection of samplers, some of the other samples in linen are within this collection too. This is an excellent technical sampler of its time.
