I love the challenge of re-purposing and I found a pair of vintage chandeliers that were damaged, so the task was set. I didn't have a clue what I was going to do with them but placed them in the store cupboard until this season.
I removed each metal leaf that was welded to a wire shade and reformed them into this lovely curved shape. The leaves have a painted patina and embossed veins detailing. Lovely shape. I have joined two together to create an arched formation and added a velvet ribbon, all ready for you to hang on your tree or from a wreath or swag.
The body of each leaf measures 5cm in height.
Set of 3 each with a different tone of velvet as the hanger.
