Botanical Diary Boards - DIY - Blues & Purple
Sold Out
Please note the image shown here in the description is an example of one I made from the last collection, the prints you receive and components will be differ. So if you choose to purchase more than one the ingredients will all be different (which is a good detail)....They will be lovingly prepared for you so will take approx a week to dispatch.
The collection of Botanical Diary Boards, that I made for this year, sold very quickly the other week. It will be a while before I have time to make any more myself so I thought you may love the idea of making one yourself if I provide the ingredients. The boards are to be consider as a diary - to keep adding to your final arrangement to creating your own stories and memories.
So here, for you to purchase, is a collection of components to "Design-It-Yourself".... where the prints are in tones of Blues & Purple.
You will receive a collection of 6 beautiful antique botanical book plates (printed in 1910)....a plain clip board, a piece of sandpaper and a little envelope with antique lace, paper ephemera, and a silk butterfly and pin..... In addition to this you will need a little pot or two of paint (sample emulsion pots are perfect), a glue stick, a paintbrush, a pair of scissors and a little time. I will also provide a little printed step by step note too.
All you have to do is sand and paint the clipboard in a colour of choice from maybe an old test pot that you have at home (paint not provided) and then assemble your compositions using the ingredients curated together for you. You can change the prints and compositions whenever you fancy. You can even add your own found and sourced botanicals through the seasons collected from walks, holidays and meandering kind of days.
Once finished place on a shelf or mantle or hang in a calm corner of your home. You may choose to purchase a lovely set of three or five "D-I-Y's" as they look beautiful in a long row or a gallery wall. A perfect project for the Summer.
You can attach to the wall with a small nail through the hole to the top of the clip or thread a ribbon through this hole tie into a loop or bow and hang from again a nail.
The base clip board measures 25cm x 17cm this doesn't include the length of the clip.
