A collection of antique panels that remind me of old glass panes in windows and the lines and shapes within worn wooden shutters. Take inspiration from the reflections created in the windows of a flower shop, where layers of flowers sit at varied depths as you peer through the glass.

These lovely patchwork and seamed panels, that have been reclaimed from an old French eiderdown, are decorated with floral embroidery transfers. You may choose to embroidery over the transfers or copy elements of the designs in other parts of the panels and seams or add your own design. I t would be rather lovely to purchase a few sets and re patch them back together to make a small cushion front or bag, or make them into a piece of textiles art.

To give you an idea of size the pink base that they are resting on measures 42cm x 32cm.

The varied fabrics in the panels are approx 120/150 years old.
