Such a lovely reclaimed hard boarded page from an old Edwardian photograph album. This would be rather lovely to remove the paper aperture and replace with an old postcard or photograph. Or remove and just prop on a mantlepiece as a decorative item.
I purchased the album in pieces already, so it would have been a laboured task to have it rebound.
The design is on both sides and is a delicate fauna print in fine gold. The apertures have been sliced cut on an angle and painted with gold too.

There is some slight damage to the surface paper where photographs have been placed and replaced over time.
