I have been finding these on my travels for years, and as you can find me on many occasion spending hours going through boxes of photographs at fairs, the same goes for rows of magic lantern slides until I find that perfect image to bring back to the studio. This slide has been selected for its beauty and they look pretty perfect leaning against a window of your home either singularly or as a collection in a row.
It is not just the image that I love but the papered frame and hand written/inked paper that has been fixed to the side.
