A wonderful length of old measuring tape.  Lovely piece of history.  This length is for approx 180cm.  The measurements have been applied by hand probably using a brush and a stencil with some areas freely painted.  

Gorgeous for project work, to use the numbers individually in some way or another....endless uses.  The base appears to be some kind of stiffened canvas
