It is within the Winter season that I use antique lace around the home to add whispers of detail amongst a festive still life, garlands and wreaths. Even the odd length draped across a small window can form the suggestion of a snowy horizon. Especially a lace panel draped over a lampshade with a low wattage bulb. Cast beautiful shadows and introduce a wonderful mood to a room.

This panel has a delicate foliage embroidery design that will cast gently onto walls and nearby surfaces. The embroidery holds a white and fine silver/gold thread that ignites a beautiful movement to the lace. It is an old sales sample, the design sits on one edge - 46cm into the panel and the rest of the panel is the plain base net.
