"Oh my Days"

The most exquisite Edwardian wedding dress. In very good condition for age. Purchased from a lady who was selling her grandmothers belongings and this had been stored away in a heavy cardboarded laundry box for years (along with the blouses I have for sale too).

Beautiful broderie, pin tuck and fine ballerina lace detailing with hook and eye fastening all down the back. The base fabric is a fine cotton lawn that has been folded over a few times to create a banded plain border. Sleeves are short with lace edging.

Measurements:

Chest: 19" when laid flat - 38" all around 96cm

Waist: 15" across when laid flat (38cm) and 30" all around.

Sleeve Circumference: 34cm all around

Length: 53" (135cm) from shoulder to bottom edge.

Would make a beautiful wedding dress now over a slip dress. Just needs a little mend here and there mainly where the lace edge has come away very slightly from the base lawn, but nothing major at all.

I also think this would look beautiful just displayed on the wall.
