...the warmth from the cottage is not the fire at the hearth but the objects that have been placed around in layers.  Decorated in details that are from a time where everything was crafted, stitched, carved, hand painted, woven, and made with consideration and time.  A message written on a postcard, that sits on the mantle, was written in a way where love gently rests in the ink.  The sleeve to a blouse has sweet embroidered motifs that were inspired by a leaf borrowed from the garden.  A bag hangs on the door that was decorated with thousands of stitches and made with a mother's love.  A painting of flowers dresses the wall so, no matter the season, the cottage is always in bloom...
