A beautiful old velvet box with metal floral ribbon detailing

This box has a metal detail to the lid that spells Studs.  This box would have contained jewelled shirt studs or precious cufflinks for someone of the gentry.
I have had this for a while and can't quite remember where it was sourced.  But it is a delight nonetheless.

Late Victorian.

Measures 6.5cm x 6.5cm x 3cm
