The Papered Wall
Something new for you from The Linen Garden.
As you know, each year I like to curate a series of interesting boxes that are available at interval points throughout the year. You may have received last year's The Miniatures and enjoyed using the components within your own journals, sketchbooks or personal projects.
Let me introduce you to this years series titled the 'Sketchbook Stories'. A box that is layered with inspiration mixed with the anticipation of not quite knowing what you will receive. A gift to yourself to open over a quiet afternoon or evening, containing a gathering of small precious details.
I know many of you love to create and style and so I am hoping you will love the Sketchbook Stories. Each will be a themed collection that will be available to purchase around every 4-6 weeks, depending on how busy the studio is within the season.
This is a limited edition collection based on the ingredients available. There is only 25 available within this first edition.
The Papered Wall is pretty wonderful as it contains the most beautiful fragments of antique French wallpapers that I found on a recent trip. Additional details within this collection will enhance these beautiful finds such as interesting panels of antique and vintage fabrics, lace, printed papers with archive designs, haberdashery, threads, hand painted papers, buttons and anything else that I think you will find of interest.
Just a simple and wonderful collection of delicious details to help you construct interesting pages in a journal or sketchbook, create an interesting collage/artwork to be framed, incorporate in general project work, embroider into the surfaces or keep as a styling box to use within your own photography.
I hope you love the Sketchbook Stories and enjoy the contents as much as I have enjoyed sourcing the details for you.
This year the series arrives in an A5 hard boarded presentation box. This is twice as deep as last years A4, so the area space is the same. I just wanted something a little deeper so I can play around with the depth of found objects too.
