Beautiful Rare Twenties French Lingerie Lace - Garlands

A beautiful example of French lingerie lace from the 1920's possibly early 30's.
A fine netted ground with the design appliquéd in a fine silk chiffon. Each section of the design has been edged in a couched silk thread. Exquisite. This lace style tended to be produced in more 'café au lait' tones which was very fashionable for this period. This is a creamy pale version of that tone.
Such a beautiful rare find.
This particular piece is a modesty panel Just wonderful.
