Vintage Audoux-Minet French Rope Stool

This lovely piece features a handwoven rope seat with a geometric pattern, supported by solid wooden turned legs. French designers Audoux-Minet initiated the design of these footstools that became popular in the mid 1900's. This may be one of the originals as it is hand crafted rather than manufactured.
In good condition for age. The rope is naturally slightly loose due to the nature of the long woven style.
