This is a wonderful old rare framed lithographic print that is a reproduction of a painting by American artist Francis William Van Vreeland titled "Dutch Flower Market"

It captures the essence of the flower market with such detail and interest. From the flowers to the clothes and the colours imagined for its time.

Originally produced in the Netherlands during the Art Nouveau period which will date this piece to around 1890-1910. The frame appears to be more 30's in style and the reverse has been re-backed in brown paper but the original 30's labels has been reclaimed and attached.

If I had the room on my walls this print would be staying here in the studio, as it is pretty special.
