Perfectly Imperfect Reclaimed Grandmother Clock
Perfectly Imperfect Reclaimed Grandmother Clock
£35.00
Another found piece that I just couldn't leave behind and if it is not claimed it is going to live here in No17 for a while. I love decorative objects like this, where their original use cannot be used but heir aesthetic is still beautiful to use as an ornamental in the home. This currently has the pendulum tied to the clock hands which can be untied and either used or not used with the clock face.
The background is hand painted in a stylised manor and the mechanism box is attached to the back. The clock face can stand freely on a shelf or mantle. There is a slight lean backwards to the wooden panel based on the design of the hand painted grojnd/stand
Approx early 1900's
Measures 24cm x 18cm x 6cm
