Old French Faded Printed Cotton Panel/Backdrop

A very beautiful, rare, reclaimed old French panel printed cotton, originally reclaimed from a curtain. You can see in the main styling photographs of this week's shop window that I have used the reverse of this print and you can see at the top there is the original curtain wire fabric panel that is across the top of the cotton backdrop. Perfect to style within a still life, to use within project work or to fold away in your own personal archive. These larger pieces are hard to find these days.
SIZE: Width - 82cm Length - 120cm
PERFECTLY IMPERFECT: Due to its age this fabric has faded, the gentle faded pinks and pistachios would have been once sugary in colour, the black has held well but still more faded than its first day in sunlight. It does have just a few tiny holes, and there are a few ink marks to the left hand side of the panel when viewed from the front (right when viewed from the reverse). It has also faded more to the bottom.
