A wonderful highly laboured piece, it is rare to find these cloths of this scale and also as skilled and layered with stitch as this piece.

I purchased this a fair few years ago as I thought it would be large enough to repurpose as a blind to the breakfast room. It was too large and I didn't want to cut into the width and spoil the composition. So I present it to you as a wonderful cloth for your table or to re-work it into something fabulous. I see it is a trend these days to turn tablecloths into items of clothing, this would be perfect for a jacket or long skirt.

There are a few marks here and there due to its age and a feint line along the crease from storage. I am selling this as found so it will require a light launder on arrival.

The embroidery here is exquisite and very in keeping of the thirties style. Possibly may even be late twenties. I particularly love the arts and crafts border around all edges.

Measures approx 128cm x 126cm, so a good size.
