Antique Oil Painting on Canvas - Birch

I have this attachment to Birch trees, not too sure where it has come from but wherever and whenever I see a beautiful study it always travels back to the studio with me.  This was painted in the late 1800's and sits in an original inlet frame that then would have sat in a larger frame.  However I do think this worn chippy white frame enhances and compliments the painting perfectly.  The painting would look beautiful in a calm corner of your home where the details can be studied.  I have taken lots of photographs for you to view the detailing as a visual descriptor.  The painting has been executed skillfully and the details orf the birch have been applied with a very fine brush, a wonderful and consider piece.
