An old Victorian hand painted verse that is unfinished, this is what I love about this piece, the fact it is unfinished delivers a sensitivity to the piece. This would have originally been intended to be completed and framed and placed in a parlour.
Painted on a card, design template was published by G Rowney & Co, Rathbourne Place, London.
