Beautiful Antique Engraving - Unknown Lady by John Hopner
£42.00
A wonderful antique, hand coloured engraving taken from a painting by John Hopner of a lady I can't seem to trace. The original painting would have been produced in the late 1700's.
This engraving was produced in 1913 by Arthur Tooth and Sons, New Bond Street London, but they did have an engravers studio in Paris too. It was actually laboured and created by the well known engraver Percy Henry Martindale whose signature sits at the bottom right corner of the Mezzotint.

The mount and engraving are slightly waved from being unframed and a couple of marks to the mount too. You may choose to discard this mount and have a new made to match a new frame.
A beautiful piece.
