Beautiful Marble Glaze Jug

A very lovely vintage marble glazed jug.  I know there is a name for this technique but my memory never holds onto the style.

It is full of beautiful tones.  Good structural condition for age just a little crackling to the glaze on the handle from use and it does have two small chips to the spout (reflected in price) but this shows the grey from the original clay underneath so is camouflaged well.

The lighter of the tones in the photograph is actually a little more grey which suits the glaze more.  Just the natural light was refusing to let the camera pick this tone up correctly.

There is a pottery stamp on the reverse but with my eyes I can't quite make it out.... (see photo)
