This is the style of oil painting that I love to find when on my travels. This beautiful study of nasturtiums n oil has lived here at No17 for a while. These are the wonderful benefits of owning this little shop, I can borrow pieces for a while so I can enjoy their beauty too. A typical dark floral for its time, in lovely condition, just a few surface marks as expected from its journey.
Signed M Jewell and dated 1910. It still has the original framers label attached. The original frame is long gone but their is still the old backing paper attached to the wooden frame on the reverse.
