A very beautiful old watercolour that is just wonderful in charm. Reclaimed from a damaged frame. Delightful Chrysanthemums in a floral vase in gorgeous pastel tones. Very uplifting and an essence of Summer. The painting is signed E A Briggs, but no date. Appears to be early 1900's. There is a label to the back that is Spanish but the painting is very British in style, so who knows where the story begins and ends to this painting and painter. The labels central words are "vidrios espejos pinturas" , glass, mirrors, paintings. So it appears to have been framed in Spain.

Painted on old heavy artist pulped board.
This painting just steps over the small parcel boundaries so will travel as a medium parcel.
