Beautiful Rare Twenties French Lingerie Lace - Example 20

I have acquired a small collection of French lingerie lace from the 1920's possibly early 30's that was found all together in an old box that was originally from (what I assume) was the original atelier.
A large fine netted ground with the design appliquéd in a fine silk chiffon. Each section of the design has been edged in a couched silk thread. Exquisite. This lace style tended to be produced in more 'café au lait' tones which was very fashionable for this period. This is a creamy version of that with a hint of buttermilk.
Such a beautiful rare find.
This particular piece consists of a large laced panel that is yet to be cut away from the netted ground. Just wonderful.
Measures approx 78cm x 19cm at the widest and longest point when laid flat.
The tone of 'cafe' is very slightly deeper/richer than shown in the photographs. I have also placed the panel against a dark ground so you can fully see the design and any very slight flaws.
