Beautiful Reclaimed Fine Applique Lace Sample

An exquisite lace samples reclaimed from a damaged lace collar. The lace consists of applique silk captured by small stitches on a netted ground. There are three small brass fastening hooks to the side.
Approx Mid 1800's.
Good structural condition for age.
Measures 23cm x 9cm
(the tassels are from a silk scarf that sits underneath the lace sample, they are not attached to the lace).
