Beautiful French Engraving by Auguste Delâtre - No.1

This is a page from an old French Arts magazine produced by the Parisienne printing house owned by the well known engraver Charles Jacques.  These actual studies were produced by the engraver Auguste Delâtre, who Jacques took under his wing some time before this. and Delâtre worked for him for many years before setting up his own printing house in Paris.  So these prints are rather special.  Due to the printing press there is an indent that frames the imagery from the block.
