Hand Embroidered Miniature - Walk Through A Bluebell Wood

These beautiful miniature embroideries are becoming more rare as I search on my travels but when I find them they certainly come back to the studio with me whatever the price. This is particularly special example of miniature embroidery as the embroider has used these tiny stitches like brush marks of perfection paying particular attention to such varied tones and colours to create depth and recognition of natural light.

An exquisite hand embroidered framed miniature.  Constructed with the tiniest seed stitches and French knots.  The scene is a tree lined path through a wood detailing a carpet of bluebells.  All silk in a cast metal frame with ornate floral corners.  There is a stand to the reverse that is still structurally sound so you can rest on a mantle or as part of a still life on a shelf.
