A very beautiful, rare, reclaimed old French printed cotton panel that is of a very good length. Perfect to style within a still life, to use within project work or to fold away in your own personal archive. These larger pieces are hard to find these days.
SIZE: Width - 82cm selvedge to selvedge Length - 205cm
PERFECTLY IMPERFECT: There are 6 holes that run down the fabric at the same point at intervals (11cm in from the right), largest measures 2cm, these could be easily darned. In general the fabric has been tested for weakness by washing twice and is structurally sound just a few other small holes can be seen when held to the light.
FABRIC: Cotton Twill.
AGE: Over 140 years old
