Beautiful warm cheery painting - a study that holds a thousand floral smiles.
A very lovely, vintage framed, stylised painting depicting beautiful roses in a decorative pitcher. Gorgeous detailing (see photos). The frame is actually from around the fifties but the painting was produced in 1979, signed W Woodward. So maybe the painting was produced to match the frame, which I know I have done many a time in the past.
This is a very lovely painting indeed.
The frame has been on a journey in places, but that's just part of its story.
