What a piece this would have been in its time. A handcrafted piece layered with detail. It is no longer working but makes a wonderful ornamental for your mantle or shelf in a quiet corner of your home. There is a crack to the glass in front of the clock face which you have to be up close to see. A labout of love.
Late 1800's/early 1900's.
Measures 28.5cm in height x 10cm x 7cm in depth.
You will see in the photographs that dust has collected in the front panel. I didn't have time to fully clean it before it was photographed, but I will before it leaves the studio.
