A beautiful floral cup decorated with transfer florals that sit between a raised filigree design within the glaze. Delicate scalloped gilding to the lip and a slim stripe to the inside. Married with an equally beautiful saucer that is shaped a little deeper than your standard saucer and there is no inner ridge where the cup would sit. I would be tempted to use this separately as a little container for something lovely or use as a small cake plate that would hold single cream as a lake around a piece of lemon drizzle.
Makers mark to the base of the saucer.
Mid/Late 1800's in age.
Cup measures 10cm in diameter and 6cm in height.
Good structural condition. There is a narrow ribbon design that sits just inside the cup. There is also a little flower that sits to the inside base of the cup.
