Reclaimed Perfectly Imperfect Pleated Silk - Length 4 (2 pieces)

If you are creative soul you will see the beautiful potential in this length of worn pleated and brocade silk.  When I was an embroidery student it would be the kind of foundation that I would get excited about.  A beautiful worn and imperfect bas etc embroider small motifs or words......I am sure you will have other ideas.  It appears to be reclaimed from something grand.  The edge of a pelmet from a four poster bed, a large lampshade, a gown?  We could write a story just around a single fragment.  The top layer of silk which is pleated has worn in places and started to perish, and the under layer of silk is finer and therefore more worn.  There is a lovely slim brocade to one side in a dulled gold.
