Staffordshire Pottery - Fortune Teller

£42.00

A lovely old piece of flatback Staffordshire pottery titled Fortune Teller.  It depicts a seated bride in a veil being told her future by a fortune teller who is holding a small child.  All framed beneath an openwork vine and grape arbour  Beautifully hand painted in areas.  There is wear here and there and crackling to the glaze expected from its journey.  I have taken lots of photographs as a visual descriptor.

This piece is mid 1850's - 1870's.

Measures 28.5cm in height and 22.5cm in width.

Glazed earthenware.

DUE TO ITS AGE AND SIZE THIS IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO UK CUSTOMERS.
